The Royal Danish Ballet is the world's third oldest ballet company. It originates from 1748 and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1771 the company established the Royal Danish Ballet School which is, as well, among the oldest of its kind.

I have an established and ongoing collaboration with the Royal Swedish Ballet School, intermittently with the University of the Arts and the Ballet Academy.

Regardless of which municipality you live in, you can attend the Swedish National Ballet School. You can apply for years 4 and 5 as well as for the available places in years 6-9.

Founded in 1773, the Royal Swedish Ballet remained relatively traditional until the early part of the twentieth century when modern dance and dancers from elsewhere, such as Russia, gained influence. Developments since then have included the 1940s renaissance for the Swedish ballet due to an Anglo-American orientation and collaborative projects and state support helping to increase audience

A School for the Whole Region. The Swedish National Ballet School in Gothenburg has a national intake, so regardless of which municipality you live in, you can attend. Already in year 4, (age 9/10) students from the entire region travel every day to our unique secondary school in Gothenburg. International students are offered to stay at The Royal Swedish Ballet School´s dormitory.
